McCain on Irish Tax

Watching the debate live.  John McCain just got the Irish Corporation Tax rate wrong – again.

Back in the first debate, he said it is 11% – it’s not.  It’s 12.5%.  You’d think someone would have updated his speaking notes by now.

MSNBC failed to note this, bizarrely.  Several people noted it last time.

McCain is making a silly point regardless of the facts that he can’t seem to get straight. Does anyone see U.S. businesses rushing to set up their corporate headquarters in Ireland? They would do great under McCain’s tax plan, as he rewards companies that move overseas and outsource.
