History of the Labour Party

Cllr Dermot Lacey posts about an interesting radio documentary from Newstalk on the history of the Labour Party (downloads and direct play at Dermot’s site).

It’s a very interesting programme, even if it can only be a light treatment at 45 minutes long.  I was particularly taken by Brendan Halligan‘s description of Frank Cluskey‘s leadership ‘when anything was possible’.  I’m working on some ‘anything is possible’ policy stuff for Labour at the moment, and hopefully the forthcoming 21st Century Commission report (aka the Sparks Report) will create the structures to recreate that mood within the party.  Fingers crossed.

About time you started blogging! What’s the point of sitting on your own domain for years, unless you actually contribute ;-)

I’ve given you a wee link on the blogroll…..
